The longest lasting high temperature resistant tapes that consistently exceed expectations
Superfort Deltahete:
Its unrivaled resistance to high temperatures, premature aging and abrasive wear, while protecting the inner carcass from the destructive forces of delamination, places Superfort Deltahete in a unique position.
Dunlop Conveyor Belt’s Superfort multi-ply construction belts with Dunlop Deltahete heat resistant coating are proven and highly successful belts specifically designed to convey high temperature abrasive materials even in the most demanding heavy duty conditions. Superfort Deltahete can withstand maximum continuous material temperatures up to 200°C and extremely high temperatures up to 400°C. It can withstand material temperatures up to a maximum of 200°C indefinitely and extremely high temperatures up to 400°C.
Above all, it can withstand such temperatures for much longer periods than its competitors. This is proven by the ISO 4195 ‘accelerated aging’ test, which measures the heat resistance properties of rubber conveyor belts by placing rubber samples in high temperature ovens for 7 days. At the end of 7 days, the reduction in mechanical properties such as tensile strength, abrasion resistance and elongation is measured. Deltahete consistently exceeds the highest requirements of Class 3. At Dunlop, we also perform tests at an astonishing temperature of 175°C. Deltahete is therefore effectively Class 4, even though ISO 4195 classifications do not include this category. While heat exposure usually causes a significant deterioration in abrasion resistance, ISO 4195 tests have proven that Dunlop Deltahete still retains its original (pre-test) resistance to abrasion.
