Almex SVP Segmented Vulcanizing Press
The SVP is built for heavy-duty splice work on conveyor belts. Its patented Pressure Bag delivers uniform pressure up to 100 psi (7 bar) for textile belts—or 200 psi (14 bar) with an optional pump for steel-cord belts. Rapid-heat silicone platens reach 163 °C in roughly 15 minutes, while integrated water channels cool the press below 60 °C in about 10 minutes. Lightweight extruded-aluminium beams make the unit highly portable, and the RC3 control box offers dual digital temperature control with optional data logging. Available in any belt width, the SVP keeps mining, cement, steel and power-generation lines running with strong, reliable splices.
The inflatable Pressure Bag expands beneath the platen, applying even pressure across the entire splice. The sealed design operates at 100 psi (7 bar) as standard—or 200 psi (14 bar) when paired with a high-pressure pump.
Silicone heaters reach cure temperature (163 °C) in about 15 minutes; the internal water-cooling channels bring the press below 60 °C in roughly 10 minutes—minimising total shutdown time.
SVP sections are manufactured to match any splice length or belt width—from 650 mm to over 2 000 mm—for both textile and steel-cord belts.
Extruded aluminium E-beams keep the press light enough for a small crane or pickup truck. Bolt-through connections allow quick assembly with minimal tools.
The RC3 panel includes dual Omron thermostats and a digital timer; the RC3P-Log option records temperature and pressure data to USB. Multi-voltage inputs (230–600 V) meet CE, CSA and UL standards.
